This is a great opportunity to join a well‑established medium‑sized company in the manufacturing sector producing core construction materials for the home and infrastructure sector. A leading manufacturer and supplier of high‑quality products, our client has a high profile, is committed to safety, and driving efficiency and competence throughout their manufacturing site and distribution network.
As part of a small Administration team, your role will be to work closely with the HR Officer supporting the General Manager and team in being responsible for :
· Processing weekly payroll (Employment Hero) which is paid under the Companies Enterprise Agreement
· Updating Records and Registers, assisting with onboarding staff, ad‑hoc reporting, month‑end reports and payments ie superannuation.
· Organising and scheduling Training as it relates to the Companies Safety & Compliance program
· General Administration and HR Support including assisting with phones, stationary and a variety of broad tasks.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
· Payroll experience (where you have been exposed to paying employees under an EA ) having worked in a medium‑sized business ie 70+ personnel
· Strong level of numeracy and accuracy
· Strong attention to detail
· 5+ years broad based administration experience in a medium‑sized company (may include exposure to: HR / organising training, OH & S, compliance assistance etc)
· Excellent organisation and planning skills; able to meet deadlines – be patient and flexible; adapt to situations and not get frustrated or flustered.
· Good problem‑solving skills
· IT literate – Payroll and ERP systems, Excel.
· A high level of discretion and professionalism as it relates to confidentiality.
· Qualifications including Certificate111 in Business or Financial Services well regarded.
· Stable work history
