About the opportunity:The Sales draftsperson reports to the Drafting Manager and is part of the Drafting team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to prepare accurate drawings within specified timeframes in line with the customer's requests, current building regulations and company policies and procedures. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

* Production of initial quote sitings as required ensuring the house is positioned in accordance with the clients request and compliant with NCC and Council regulations
* Assess and prepare draft Sales Plans in accordance with the tender document, client variations, and external consultant reports
* Translate customer requirements to compliant drawings by interacting and providing feedback to internal stakeholders including sales and estimators
* Production of construction drawings including reviews and amendments
* Provide solutions-based problem solving of site and design restrictions, whilst considering costs and the client's brief

About you

You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:

* 3 years' experience in residential building drafting
* Experience and proficiency in ArchiCad (essential)
* Knowledge of current Tasmanian housing codes, regulations and NCC
* Extensive construction knowledge
* Ability to collaborate with the wider team, holding a positive "can do attitude"
* High attention to detail and take great pride in your work
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication
* Effective time management
