We are seeking a bright and energised Program Manager to join our inspired team for the Joint Adversarial Training and Testing Services (JATTS) program.In this role, you will contribute to the critical outcomes of the Australian Defence Force by supporting the delivery of complex, state-of-the-art training and testing services designed to keep Australia safe.
You will lead an expert team to success by setting the vision, building the plan and using your unique leadership skills to foster a strong and safe team culture that delivers truly innovative solutions.The role:The Raytheon Australia JATTS program provides aerial target, live opposing forces, electronic warfare, 'identification friend or foe' testing and advanced threat simulation services to the ADF.
As one of the leaders of this program, your responsibilities include:Flawless execution of the program plans to maintain day-to-day safety and operations of the program;Provide effective leadership, connecting every employee, customer and supplier to the business;Continuing to build on Raytheon Australia's capabilities and deliver growth in key areas;Deliver on contracted outcomes to meet or exceed financial targets;Support an environment that promotes sharing of best practice, information, and collaborative behaviours.The person:To be successful in this role you will need a broad range of highly developed skills and experience, including:Requires a University Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management or other relevant discipline or equivalent experienceEligible for registration as a Registered Project Manager (Reg PM) and certification as a CPPM through the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM)Minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience (when a University Degree is held)Ability to determine, monitor and control project costs; and guide financial completion activities and knowledge of the data required for, and produced from financial systemsAbility to establish key elements of tactical and operational plans toward achieving short- to medium-term organisational results and aligned with the long-term business strategyExperience in either aviation Flight Operations, Maintenance / Design and Aviation Safety Management under CASA and / or DASA regulatory environments, is highly desirable.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to Negative Vetting Level 1.This position is your opportunity to demonstrate real leadership by having the freedom to make decisions, own the outcome and drive the delivery of programs critical to Australian Defence Force missions.
