Farm Hand/Manager
Part Time / Contract
We are seeking a farm hand/manager on either a part time or contract basis to join our property located at Carbunup River in South West WA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and harvesting of existing fruit orchard and flower gardens using organic and biodynamic farming principles
* Establish and maintain perennials flowers
* Ongoing soil preparation and management
* Maintenance of fencing, irrigation, infrastructure and farm machinery
* Property maintenance and upkeep
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:
* Knowledge and experience in organic farming and sustainable living
* Willing to learn, adopt new practices, and share knowledge
* Must be a keen self starter with a 'can do' attitude, self motivated, enthusiastic and hard working
* Preferably experienced in general farm operations (inc. irrigation, tractor, fencing etc)
* Committed to long term involvement
* Physically fit and ability to work outside in all conditions
* Hold drivers licence and have transport
Attractive remuneration is offered relevant to experience and qualifications. Position is approximately 32 hours per week.
