Karridale Group is a trusted leader in Fixed Plant Maintenance services, proudly serving the WA mining industry. As we gear up for a high-paced Spring season, we're expanding our Shutdown team at Karara Mine (near Geraldton) and are on the lookout for skilled and safety-focused Fixed Plant BOILERMAKERS to join the action.

Key ingredients to ensure success in the role:
* Read drawings (esp. Isometric Drawings), work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications.
* Examine work for defects and measure with straightedges or template to ensure conformance with specifications
* Set up and operate hand and power tools such as welding equipment, and oxy equipment.
* Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials or products and notify supervisors.
* Modify/Repair steelwork sustained from damage, transit and installation, fabrication errors and detailing errors
* Maintain clean safe work environment by complying with procedures, rules and safety.
Essential Requirements for the role:
* Demonstrated commitment to safety
* Minimum of 12 months continuous experience as a Fixed Plant Boilermaker, ideally in mining or a similar industry
* Australian or Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
* Mask fit testing
* White Card
* Working at Heights
* Confined Space
* Gas Testing
* Unlimited Australian Work Rights
