Description of the role
We're seeking an IT Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for internal IT support, providing Level 1 technical assistance to William Buck users across NSW, Canberra, and the Philippines. You will manage IT queries, incidents, and service requests, helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the business.
What makes you 'just right'
* 0-2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
* Basic understanding of Windows, and common business applications.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Familiarity with ITIL processes, ability to follow documented procedures and use ticketing systems.
* Hands on experience in M365, Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, or endpoint security administration.
What your day might look like
* Provide first-level IT support for Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune), including user access, email support, device setup, and basic troubleshooting.
* Respond to IT support requests, accurately log and manage incidents in the service desk system, and ensure timely resolution in line with SLAs.
* Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues across Windows devices, Microsoft 365, printers, and mobile devices.
* Perform routine support tasks including password resets, account unlocks, software installations, and device provisioning/imaging.
* Assist with Intune device enrolment, basic compliance checks, and standard application deployment.
* Install and update operating systems and applications.
* Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff when required.
* Provide user-friendly communication and support to employees with varying technical knowledge.
* Assist with meeting room technology and AV setups when needed.
