PALFINGER MARINE is looking for a Sales Representative to be based remotely in Sydney, Australia. The Sales Representative works closely with the Country Manager Australia, and is responsible for driving sales activities and achieving business growth within the Australia & New Zealand region.
Responsibilities
Manage key customer accounts by building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and providing best-in-class solutions.
Drive sales performance through territory forecasting, setting bi-annual sales targets, and executing strategies to retain and acquire customers.
Proactively engage the market including shipyards, ship owners, agents, and consultants to generate new opportunities and secure early-phase project leads.
Deliver commercial excellence by preparing accurate tenders/offers, maintaining deep product knowledge, and monitoring competition and industry trends.
Support business development and marketing efforts through participation in exhibitions/fairs, contributing new marketing ideas, and maintaining strong technical knowledge of marine/offshore segments.

Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related technical field.
At least 2–3 years of proven B2B sales experience in heavy equipment/life-saving appliances/maritime/offshore will be advantageous.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel extensively is a plus.
The level of job role is commensurate based on the relevant years of experience.
