Description
Employee experience and strategic benefits innovation are at the forefront of what we do on the Benefits team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted benefits subject matter expert, demonstrating high integrity strategic judgment, and the ability to influence across the organization. You thrive in an independent environment while contributing to shape the APAC benefits strategy, resolve complex challenges, and collaborate as a team to drive measurable impact on Benefit programs and initiatives. This role works closely with the People team, Finance, Global Procurement, Legal, and all functions within the Benefits team.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate and apply expertise in benefits program design, stakeholder management, operational efficiency, compliance, vendor management, and employee experience
* Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (People Business Partners, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Communications, etc.) across the organisation to shape benefits projects, techniques, vendor service quality, and evaluation criteria to meet Benefits strategic priorities
* Drive high-impact benefits projects and initiatives while balancing hands-on day-to-day operational needs with program strategic design
* Solve high-impact benefits challenges with limited precedent, requiring obsessive attention to details, conceptual thinking and innovative approaches (e.g., complex plan design, regulatory changes, vendor transitions)
* Build scalable benefits processes, tools, and frameworks that elevate team capabilities and employee experience
* Communicate complex benefits information with clarity and credibility to diverse audiences from employees to leadership and vendors
Minimum Qualifications
* 12+ years of experience in a benefits role, or 8+ years of experience with a Master's degree specialised in benefits or a PhD with 5 years of experience
* Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills in English
* Proven track record of solving complex, high-impact benefits needs with limited precedent
* Strong financial and strategic acumen applied to benefits plan design, vendor negotiations, and long-term cost management
* Experience driving cross-functional benefits initiatives and building organizational alignment
* Experience operating autonomously within strategic scope while delivering sustainable benefits program impact
Preferred Qualifications
* Demonstrated expertise in APAC-wide employee benefits including health & welfare, retirement, and leave programs
* Experience in how benefits operate within a Captive environment
