**YOUR ROLE**
Joining our Professional Risk Specialised Claims team within Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA). In this role, you'll effectively manage complex skilled risk indemnity claims, providing a full legal defence and/or resolution of all claims, which can encompass a negotiated resolution or managing litigation to verdict at trial, ensuring an optimum and efficient service to customers, maximising opportunities to ensure claims are processed to meet our customer and financial objectives within expected delivery timeframes.
This pivotal role will provide clear instructions and guidelines on complex litigated claims to legal practitioners to achieve the most effective claims outcome. You'll set reserves for each claim and notification which reflects the most probable financial outcome of the claim and deliver exceptional customer service to CGU customers through efficient and customer centric service, ensuring that the full protection provided by the policy is given to the insured.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Extensive experience in management of professional indemnity and financial lines claims
- In-depth knowledge of legal principles and practices, especially in handling complex litigated claims
- Exceptional customer service skills to ensure efficient, customer-centric service, maintain high service quality and achieving service metrics
- Ability to effectively build and manage relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in providing clear instructions and guidelines to legal practitioners on complex litigated claims to achieve effective outcomes
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate administration of claims and adherence to requirements
- Solid experience in professional risks insurance
