About the Role
Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.
The primary purpose of the role is the operation of the Bone Mineral Density Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) Service alongside the outpatient clinics within the Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, to facilitate diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis to reduce future fractures and improve patient outcomes.

Ideal Candidate
* Holds a Science degree from an approved University with a minimum of 3 years full‐time study or an equivalent qualification with a major in Anatomy and Physiology.
* Current ANZBMS certification or equivalent, or working towards such certification.
* Experience in a DXA scanning environment.
* Current regulatory radiation licence EPA, or willing to apply for the same.
