Qualifications & experience
* Must have a Trade Certificate as a Pastry Chef with a minimum of 2 years of qualified experience, either in a production kitchen or hotel background.
* Experience working with premium foods with exacting standards.
* Background in managing premium patisserie work is essential.
* Ability to develop & manage the following of standard recipe cards and presentation methods
* HACCP Training e.g. Food Handling or HACCP supervisor, would be an advantage
* Impeccable personal grooming standards and professionalism
Tasks & responsibilities
Our pastry team is looking for a pastry chef who specializes in working in production-style pastry kitchens. This role would see the successful candidate come from a background in a high-end production or hotel-style kitchens with extensive experience.
The role also requires the ability to coordinate between multiple venues and their managers to successfully deliver the required standards and volume of products daily.
There are some light administrative duties, including ordering and stock control of pastry-specific products and HACCP recording.
Experience in cake decorating is preferred.
