The Role
As a Part-Time Educator within our Early Learning Centre (ELC) and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service, you will play a key role in creating a warm, structured and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported and inspired to learn. You will work with children across early years and school-age settings, supporting their wellbeing, development and belonging through intentional teaching, meaningful play experiences and consistent routines. This position suits an educator who is confident, reliable, child-focused, and committed to high standards of practice and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care, supervision and support for children in ELC and OSHC settings
* Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning and play experiences
* Maintain a safe, inclusive and structured environment that supports children's wellbeing
* Follow the National Quality Framework and service policies/procedures
* Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
* Contribute to a collaborative, respectful and professional team culture
* Complete required documentation (programming, incident reports, attendance, communication) as needed
Essential Requirements (Mandatory)
* Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
* Current Working With Children Check / Ochre Card
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
* Strong understanding of child safety standards and mandatory reporting responsibilities
* Professional presentation, communication and teamwork skills
