The Role
We're looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our growing Patient Care Team. This is initially a casual (ongoing), on‑site role (initially 2–3 days/week) with flexibility to cover leave and potential to grow into a permanent position .
Responsibilities
* Scheduling and managing appointments
* Handling phone, email, and in‑person enquiries
* Triaging referrals and supporting our clinical team
* Managing Medicare billing and patient records
* Creating a welcoming, professional front‑of‑house experience
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who is experienced in mental health settings, organised, and genuinely cares about people.
Essential
* Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, adaptive setting.
* Minimum of 2+ years of medical reception or healthcare admin experience is required.
* Strong understanding of Medicare billing processes and procedures.
* Experience with practice management software is required (Halaxy preferred), with the ability to adapt to different systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Highly organised and detail‑oriented.
Bonus Points
* Experience with Office 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).
* Interest in mental health and patient care.
