A vacancy exists in a very busy specialist clinic for a medical room assistant/technician.
Responsibilities include dealing one on one with patients, using diagnostic equipment and assisting doctor in rooms. The main day to day tasks will include taking diagnostic images, talking to patients, organising scripts and medical certificates, administering drops, setup and assisting Doctor in rooms. Full training is provided.
The role requires someone with the ability to multitask and think on their feet. It is imperative the successful candidate have a positive attitude, good work ethic, excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to deal with people from all walks of life with often complex needs.
A pre-employment quiz, along with police and reference checks will have to be successfully completed before being offered the position.
Remuneration will be accordance with experience and based on the Health & Support Services Award. School leavers encouraged to apply.
