Purpose of the Role
This role is unique in its ability to deliver high-quality emergency services through a collaborative approach with key stakeholders. By working together, we can achieve improved safety outcomes for the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend incidents and emergencies as required, providing effective support to those affected
* Live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station to ensure timely response to emergencies
* Maintain Australian Permanent Resident Status to meet the requirements of this role
* Hold a valid Manual C Class driver's licence to operate specialist firefighting equipment
You will commit to regular drills, training sessions, and obtaining an MRV licence within 12 months of employment. You will also contribute to community education activities, develop and maintain competencies, and operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
