**Your new role**

You will be exposed to an exciting new opportunity to co-ordinate activities related to software implementation, cyber security uplift, and system transformation projects to our Australian Federal Government clients.

You will work in a highly skilled team of industry experts to help identify business improvements, and develop new processes, procedures and work instructions. While supporting the uplift of security posture and the understanding of security best practices across the organisation by:

- collaborating with internal teams and external service providers to implement systems changes and projects.
- developing project plans and documentation and supporting the implementation of projects
- identifying challenges and assessing risks associated with projects.

**To be successful**

You will need strong written and verbal communication skills, a drive to learn and develop professionally, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for cyber security solutions. You will need to be comfortable in a cyber security or adjacent IT industry, and be able to work with a range of stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

To work with our Australian Federal Government clients, you must be an Australian citizen and either hold or be eligible and willing to obtain security clearance (minimum baseline). Other requirements include:

- a broad understanding of cyber security concepts and/or experience in a similar role.
- a strong work ethic, ability to self-manage time to deliver outcomes as part of a dynamic team.
- a professional and polite demeanour, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The following experience will be highly regarded:

- relevant experience managing the implementation of IT projects.
- A broad knowledge of IT technologies and terminology
- familiarity with cyber management reporting and metrics
- familiarity with Microsoft Project system or similar
- familiarity of project management framework Prince2 or similar
- familiarity with Information Security and Cyber Frameworks and standards (ISM, PSPF, Essential 8, ISO27001/2, etc.)
- highly developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Located in Canberra, or the willingness to relocate or travel for the role.
