About the Role
As a job coach, you will be working with young people to help them discover their strengths, build skills and step into meaningful work, training or study. Your role involves providing one-on-one coaching, collaborating with local employers and connecting participants with training pathways.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide individualized coaching to support participants in overcoming barriers and building confidence.
2. Work with young people to identify their strengths and career goals.
3. Develop partnerships with local employers, industry and training providers to open up opportunities.
4. Connect participants with relevant training pathways (Certificate III and above).
5. Lead outreach and community engagement efforts to grow networks and create impact across East Gippsland.
About You
* You must be passionate about supporting young people's success.
* Experience in youth work, employment services or community development is beneficial.
* You should be an effective communicator who builds strong relationships with ease.
* Strong motivation, accountability and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
* A willingness to travel across the region is required.
