Your new role

You will step into an AO5‑equivalent People and Culture Advisor role. The position provides core P&C administration and first level HR advisory support.
Key duties include:
Managing P&C inboxes and responding to enquiries.
Maintaining accurate employee records and coordinating with the external payroll and LMS provider.
Reviewing payroll reports and preparing workforce data.
Overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes.
Supporting recruitment, including role descriptions, evaluations and job advertisements.
Coordinating training and providing committee secretariat support.
Offering first level advice on legislation, awards, agreements, policy, recruitment, performance and workforce planning.
Contributing to policy updates, process improvement and P&C project work.

What you'll need to succeed
Minimum two years of experience in a P&C or HR role.
Strong administration and organisation skills with a high level of accuracy.
Clear written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office. Aurion experience is desirable.
Understanding of Queensland public sector employment frameworks.
HR qualifications are desirable.
