As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee a team of nursing professionals and health care workers, ensuring excellence in clinical care, resident support, and operational management. This position plays a critical role in leading innovation, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, and mentoring the next generation of aged care professionals.

About the Role
* Full-time position based at Iona Digby Harris Home, Nhill
* Lead and manage a multidisciplinary clinical team
* Oversee resident care, staff performance, and regulatory compliance
* Contribute to continuous quality improvement and accreditation processes
* Be a key member of one of Victoria's most trusted regional health providers
Key Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated experience with aged care documentation systems and funding tools
* Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
* Ability to resolve conflict, manage performance, and lead change
* Understanding of legislative frameworks in health, safety, and EEO
* Immunisation history and current Police Check, WWCC & NDIS Check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable:
* Postgraduate qualifications in leadership, management, or aged care
* Experience in managing residential aged care services in rural settings
