Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse with Lifeblood, you will be part of an organisation dedicated to life-giving donations for life-changing outcomes. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about delivering exceptional donor experiences and working collaboratively with a small team.
The job involves greeting and interviewing potential donors to assess their eligibility and suitability for donation. You will also provide clinical oversight and guide other team members in the blood and plasma collection process. Additionally, you will complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests, set up machines and collections equipment, insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets, manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance, and monitor donors post-donation and assist them to rebook for their next donation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
* A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
* Current AHPRA registration
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster
