We're partnering with a well-established property developer with a strong pipeline of mixed-use and residential (BTR & BTS) projects across Sydney. As the business continues to grow, they are now seeking a Senior Development Manager to join the team and take ownership of key projects from early concept through to delivery.
This is a broad, hands-on role that will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to contribute meaningfully to the growth and success of a reputable development group. You'll gain exposure to all phases of the development lifecycle while working with an experienced and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage development projects from feasibility and planning through to construction and completion
* Oversee site due diligence, feasibility modelling, and risk assessment
* Coordinate planning approvals with consultants and authorities
* Work closely with the delivery and construction teams to ensure project milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met
* Monitor project programs and proactively manage any delivery risks or delays
* Lead regular site and consultant meetings during construction phases
* Liaise with key stakeholders, including local councils, JV partners, contractors, and internal teams
* Contribute to commercial decision-making, including acquisitions, contract negotiations, and funding strategies
About You
* 7+ years of experience in property development
* Strong understanding of planning pathways, feasibility modelling, and development processes
* Proven experience working with consultant teams and managing project programs
* Commercially astute, organised, and proactive in approach
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction, Architecture or a related discipline
