CPSP Support Coordinator
Country & Outback Health (CObH) is a not-for-profit organisation focused on building healthier and happier communities, offering mental health, allied health, addiction support, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, NDIS services and support services for young people.
The Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Program delivers free, non-clinical, community-based mental health support to people living with a severe mental illness in regional areas. It is voluntary and can be accessed via self or third-party referral.
Role
* Full‐time or part‐time – Monday to Friday (up to 75 hours per fortnight)
* Choice of location – Port Augusta or Whyalla
As a CPSP Support Coordinator you will work one‐on‐one with clients, in person or over the phone, to help them set personal goals and connect with the right supports to achieve them.
Responsibilities
* Help clients develop practical strategies and skills tailored to their personal goals.
* Support goals such as accessing education and vocational training, money and budgeting support, building connections within the local community, linking with housing, employment and wellbeing services, and supporting both mental and physical health.
* Maintain ongoing communication throughout the 12‐week program to ensure goals are reviewed, updated and achieved.
* Document all client interactions and progress using a CRM and database.
Qualifications
* Certificate IV or above in Mental Health, Disability Studies, Community Services or related discipline.
* Experience supporting clients in a health or community services setting, using a compassionate, person‐centred approach.
* Excellent communication skills and a caring approach when supporting clients, families, friends and carers, especially in times of distress.
* Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build respectful relationships with other service providers.
* Strong planning, problem‐solving and organisational skills to provide practical, timely support to clients and their families.

* Salary range: $80,967–$86,758 per year (pro‐rata for part time).

Employment with CObH is subject to a National Police Check, DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check. Applicants must have current working rights in Australia and a valid driving licence.
