Job Description We are seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to lead ibis Styles Mount Isa and provide strong leadership to a small but passionate team of hospitality professionals. Reporting directly to the Vice President Operations WA & TAS, you will take on a highly diverse role, with hands-on responsibility for the hotel’s financial performance, sales, human resources, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. As General Manager, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving business performance and fostering a culture of excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead, inspire, and mentor a small but strong team, fostering individual growth and collaboration. Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate the guest experience. Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure all departments meet and exceed performance targets. Drive sales and marketing efforts to maximise occupancy and build brand loyalty. Manage cost control and implement capital expenditure projects to improve the hotel’s offerings. Make high-level sales & marketing decisions, leveraging a consultative approach and supporting team collaboration.
