What We Do:
- Our organisation has been operating for over 40 years and is one of Australia's leading water treatment organisations with the latest technology.
Responsibilities include:
- You will manage the entire process of fortnightly and monthly payroll functions for a large group of employees through MicrOPay system
- Prepare compliance submissions for STP, payroll tax, superannuation & Work Cover
- Be the primary point of contact for any Payroll or HR enquiries
- Manage HR administrative tasks and provide support
- Employee engagement including communications via company intranet, managing awards, social gatherings, and celebrations
- Manage day-to-day operations including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, learning and development
- Assist in formulating and implementing departmental and organisational processes, procedures, and policies
What You Bring To This Role:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of HR policies, practices, and legislation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills along with a high level of initiative
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Knowledge of MicrOpay system would be beneficial but not essential
