Job Description
Acira Consultancy Pty Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Aged or Disabled Carer to provide high-quality personal care and support to elderly and/or people with disabilities. The successful candidate will assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing in a safe and respectful manner. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
* Support clients with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids
* Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping
* Administer or assist with medications in accordance with care plans and guidelines
* Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
* Follow individual care plans and report changes in clients’ condition
* Maintain accurate care records and documentation
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, infection control, and care standards
* Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and support teams
Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in aged care, disability support, or a similar role
* Relevant qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent (preferred)
* Knowledge of aged care and disability support standards in Australia
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Patience, reliability, and a client-focused approach
* Current
First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
* National Police Check and
Working With Children Check (as required) What We Offer:
