About the Role
An exciting career opportunity exists for an experienced hospitality professional to join our leadership team as Assistant Venue Manager.
Working closely with the Venue Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day restaurant and bar operations, leading front-of-house teams, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Acting as second-in-charge (2IC), this role suits someone who thrives in premium hospitality environments, leads with confidence, and takes pride in operational excellence.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a premium or high-volume hospitality environment
* Strong front-of-house operational leadership, including opening/closing, cash handling and service oversight
* Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, with a passion for premium service delivery
* Demonstrated rostering, staff supervision, coaching and team development experience
* A naturally engaging leadership style with excellent communication skills and professional presentation
* A genuine commitment to creating memorable, personalised guest experiences
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
* Experience coordinating functions, private dining or special events
* A success-driven attitude with strong accountability and attention to detail
