About The Role

We're seeking a dedicated Specialist Child & Family Practitioner to join our TSA Family Violence Services team, delivering expert child-focused interventions and therapeutic support to infants, children, young people, and their caregivers in Broken Hill.
Reporting to the Program Coordinator. this is a Permanent Full-Time role, located in Broken Hill, NSW. Salary is in accordance with SCHADS Level 5.
Due to the nature of this service, to identify as a woman is a genuine occupational qualification for this position under s.31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
How You Will Make An Impact
* Coordinate and deliver specialist child-focused casework and therapeutic support
* Engage children through play and age-appropriate assessments to support healing from trauma
* Work alongside caregivers to create safety plans and connect families to vital services
* Provide coaching and guidance to staff to enhance child-centered practices
* Collaborate with local agencies to ensure comprehensive, wrap-around care for children and families
* Participate in rostered on-call duties for after-hours emergencies
What You Will Bring
* Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, Community Development, or related field
* Experience delivering trauma-informed services to children and families affected by family violence
* Ability to work sensitively with diverse and regional communities
* Strong collaboration skills and passion for child well-being
