Details: We’re seeking an energetic Communications and Content Design Officer to create, refine and maintain clear, accessible and engaging communication materials and website content.
In this hands‑on role, you’ll use an audience‑first approach to develop and refine communication materials and website content, applying departmental style guides and user‑centred design principles. If you bring strong attention to detail, a passion for plain language and a commitment to accessibility, we’d love to hear from you.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations or a related field is desirable.
A strong understanding of digital content principles, including WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, plain language, SEO, analytics and writing and editing for the web, with experience using HTML and content management systems (CMS).
Notes: This is a temporary position available for a period of six months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process, and suitable candidates may be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
