Community Infrastructure Planner
We are seeking an experienced Community Infrastructure Planner to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our community infrastructure planning efforts, working closely with internal stakeholders and community partners to shape sustainable, inclusive, and well‑designed spaces. This is your chance to make a real impact—engaging with the community and helping us deliver infrastructure that meets current and future needs. You'll be supported by a collaborative team and can grow your skills in a dynamic environment.
* Develop needs analysis, feasibility studies and project charters
* Monitor industry trends and community needs to inform planning
* Conduct high‑level research and stakeholder engagement
* Prepare and acquire grant applications
* Assist with budget planning for capital projects
* Provide strategic advice to internal and external stakeholders
* Monitor, review and report on delivery of projects, implementation plans and programs of work
Qualifications
* A tertiary qualification in sport, recreation, urban design, planning or a related field
* Relevant experience in urban planning, community development, or infrastructure planning
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven experience in project management
* Experience in conducting research and data analysis
* Experience in stakeholder engagement and public consultation
* Strong conceptual and analytical skills
* Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and Teams
