The Role
As a Quality Administration Officer based at our Bairnsdale site, you will play an essential role within the Quality Assurance team, supporting the Bakery to produce products Right First Time through strong quality systems administration and compliance support
This role ensures documentation accuracy, data integrity, calibration compliance and audit readiness across the site. You will work closely with Production, Maintenance and broader site teams to support food safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining controlled documents, documentation registers and issuing trade specification sheets.
* Coordinating quality schedules including GMP audits, glass and hard plastic audits, pre-op rosters and QA team schedules.
* Raising and following up maintenance requests related to quality issues.
* Managing equipment calibration registers and monitoring overdue calibrations.
* Issuing and controlling X-ray and Metal Detector test pieces.
* Entering and maintaining quality data including non-conformances and findings.
* Preparing and coordinating the Morning Tasting Panel and recordkeeping.
* Supporting internal and external audits through documentation preparation and evidence collation.
* Conducting compliance inspections including locker room and cleaning verifications.
* Supporting toolbox talks and maintaining training documentation registers.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, proactive follow-up and the ability to work independently while building strong working relationships across the site.

* What you offer Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or administrative role within food manufacturing
* Strong document control and record management capability
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry systems
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Knowledge of quality processes in a manufacturing environment
* Experience supporting audits and maintaining compliance registers (desirable)
* Certificate/Diploma in Food Safety, Quality Assurance or related discipline (desirable)
* Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously
