**TEN Recruitment**, we have a part time opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a Perth owned and operated construction company. Supporting the Finance Manager with a range of accounts duties this is a great opportunity for an someone with accounts and payroll experience to secure part time work. This role will be initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
**About the role**:
- Processing, preparing and reconciling invoices and purchase orders - liaising with suppliers for information/ clarification as required
- Receipting
- Preparing general account and bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Preparing weekly/ fortnightly/ monthly financial reports as required
- Payroll administration and support to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Data entry and importing data into the finance systems
- Providing additional administration duties as required
**About you**
- Ideally you will have a bookkeeping/ accounting qualification
- 2 years + experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge MS Office products including intermediate to advanced Word and Excel skills
- Experience with the accounts payable function including account reconciliations
- Experience generating and issuing supplier invoices
- Experience in payroll administration or
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- meticulous attention to detail and accurate data entry skills

- Ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Strong initiative and work ethic; ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team Be highly organised, proactive, and methodical with systems and processes

- Experience in the construction industry
