Perioperative Nurse Educator Role
The Perioperative Nurse Educator plays a key leadership role in driving continuous learning within the hospital setting. This involves developing, delivering, and evaluating education programs that meet individual and organisational needs.
To achieve this, you will collaborate with the Nursing team to ensure our workforce is equipped to provide high-quality, patient-centred care. You may be required to work across different hospital sites or departments as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and/or minimum of 5 years' experience in the relevant area of specialty
* Current Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or willingness to complete within 12 months
* Registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse/midwife without conditions
* Proven skills and experience in supervision, mentoring, and performance development of staff in an acute care clinical setting
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing, delivering, and evaluating education programs
* Collaborating with the Nursing team to drive quality improvement initiatives
