Ready to take the next big step in your finance career? A leading construction company located on Sydney's North Shore, is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer who's ready to take on a new challenge and make an impact.
Your new role
* Full function accounts payable, including supplier invoices and subcontractor claims
* Coordinate and process weekly and monthly payment runs
* Supervise and support the Accounts Payable Officer
* End-to-end payroll processing for weekly pay cycles
* Timesheet retrieval, leave management, superannuation, PAYG, and EOFY reconciliations
* Administer onboarding and offboarding payroll processes for employees
* Liaise with project teams to resolve accounts payable and payroll issues.
* Assist the Finance Manager with BAS, GST, month-end reporting, and audits.
* Utilising Systems such as Cheops, Payapps, Procore, and Elmo
What you'll need to succeed
* Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Payroll, or a related field
* Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and payroll
* Background within the commercial construction industry
* Strong understanding of Awards, Fair Work, payroll compliance and taxation
* Proficiency in Cheops accounting software essential
* Experience using Jobpac or Timberline will also be considered
