ServiceNow Developer


You will play a key role in our digital delivery team, building and maintaining a large-scale ServiceNow environment.


This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, and integrations. You will work closely with analysts, researchers, and designers to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.



* Designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, and integrations

* Delivering custom and out-of-the-box ServiceNow solutions aligned to best practice

* Working with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

* Maintaining existing modules and delivering new platform features

* Troubleshooting issues, implementing fixes, and conducting root cause analysis

* Monitoring system health and performance to minimize downtime

* Supporting upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance

* Participating in agile ceremonies and iterative delivery processes

* Producing clear documentation, technical specifications, and knowledge transfer materials

* Mentoring junior developers and contributing to team capability uplift

* Staying current with new ServiceNow capabilities and applying relevant improvements



You will join a modern ICT environment supporting a major national transformation program. Our team focuses on secure digital service delivery, innovation, continuous improvement, and user-centred design, with a mix of in-house and sourced technical capability.


We are looking for someone with:



* Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow applications and integrations

* Strong technical capability across workflows, scripting, UI policies, forms, and configurations

* Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and HR modules

* Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into technical solutions

* Understanding of ITIL processes

* Experience monitoring system health and proactively preventing downtime

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Office 365, SharePoint

* Excellent communication and documentation skills

* ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS-ITSM, CAD

* Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, branching, and repository management

* Familiarity with agile delivery and CI/CD practices

* Experience in ServiceNow implementation or enhancement projects

* Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging enterprise technologies
