The Opportunity
We're looking for a talented and driven Design Manager to join the growing team based in the head office in North-West Sydney. You'll play a pivotal role in leading the design process across New Build and Refurb & Fit Out portfolios. You'll work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure design outcomes align with project goals, compliance requirements, and high standards of delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead the end-to-end design management process from concept through to construction.
Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, and internal delivery teams to manage expectations, resolve challenges, and ensure cohesive project outcomes.
Oversee planning, design documentation, compliance (e.g., BCA, NCC), and approvals.
Provide technical input and design advice to optimise project performance, buildability, and cost-efficiency.
Ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the lifecycle of the project.
About You
5+ years' experience in design management or a related architecture/design role within the construction industry.
Strong background in commercial fit outs, refurbishments, and/or new builds.
Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of construction methodology, design standards, and compliance regulations.
A proactive problem-solver with an eye for design and a sharp attention to detail.
