We are seeking a qualified and motivated Speech Therapist (Speech Pathologist) to join our multidisciplinary General Practice. You will provide high-quality, patient-centred assessment and therapy services to children and adults within a collaborative primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, diagnose, and manage speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
* Develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based therapy plans.
* Provide therapy for paediatric and adult patients.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.
* Liaise with GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals for coordinated care.
* Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home programs.
* Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
* Ability to bulk bill your patients.
* Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
* Current SPA (Speech Pathology Australia) membership.
* Eligibility for Medicare provider number.
* Professional Indemnity Insurance.
* Eligibility to work in Australia.
* Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
* Experience in a primary care or multidisciplinary setting.
* Interest in paediatrics, neuro, voice, or dysphagia.
* Experience with clinical software and Medicare billing.
