The Role – Enrolled Nurse (Urgent Care)
We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our Urgent Care clinic in Bega, providing essential urgent care to the Sapphire Coast community. In this role, you will support the delivery of timely, safe and effective care for patients presenting with non-life-threatening urgent conditions. Working closely with Registered Nurses and medical practitioners, you will be involved in both clinical care and patient flow, ensuring each person receives appropriate and well-coordinated treatment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in triaging and assessing patients, ensuring appropriate care pathways are followed.
• Support Registered Nurses and clinicians in delivering hands-on care, including wound management, plastering and medication administration (within scope).
• Balance clinical responsibilities with administrative tasks that support smooth daily operations.
• Provide clear communication, information and reassurance to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Promote a safe workplace for patients and staff by following clinical and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively within the clinical team to provide a calm, organised and patient-focused environment.

About You
• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
– Primary care or general practice nursing (min. 3 years), or
– Emergency / urgent care (min. 2 years), or
– Medical/Surgical, Orthopaedics or similar acute care settings (min. 3 years).
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• A warm, patient-focused approach and commitment to safe, high-quality care.
