As the primary people partner for several key business units, you will be supporting a mixed workforce of 550 employees across the ANZ region. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will be the bridge between commercial goals and human potential. In this role, you will be supporting employees across the entire lifecycle - true HR Generalist position.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted consultant to senior leadership, translating complex business objectives into actionable workforce planning and people strategies.
Empower managers to lead better by providing expert guidance on performance management, team communication, and complex employee relations.
Support EA negotiations and manage high-level ER issues with a focus on fairness and legislative compliance.
Lead engagement and wellbeing initiatives—including managing global employee surveys
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for HRIS systems and oversee critical annual cycles such as salary reviews and bonus processes.
Our ideal candidate will:Hold tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or Psychology and have a proven track record as an HRBP or Senior Advisor within the manufacturing or commercial sectors.
Have a deep understanding of Australian employment law and possess the "scars" and successes from managing complex change and ER matters.
Be a master of relationship-building, using data-driven insights and a resourceful mindset to solve problems and drive results.
Be a team player who is willing to step in as a payroll backup when required, ensuring business continuity.
