Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to conduct thorough assessments of patients with physical and functional deficits, followed by the planning and implementation of individual/group physical therapy treatments.
* Carry out comprehensive physical therapy evaluations in accordance with professional guidelines.
* Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect a deep understanding of the patient's diagnosis, abilities, and limitations.
* Administer various evaluation procedures, including standardized tests such as range of motion, manual muscle testing, mobility, air entry, and breath sounds.
Responsibilities also include providing education to patients and caregivers regarding assessment findings and care recommendations, establishing treatment goals and plans that meet departmental, institutional, and third-party reimbursement requirements, and communicating patient care needs to team members as necessary.
