Key Responsibilities
* On-Site Client Support: Travel to client locations to provide timely and professional in-person diagnosis and resolution of IT issues.
* Internet Troubleshooting: Serve as the go-to expert for NBN and internet connectivity problems, including modem/router configuration, Wi-Fi optimisation, and fault diagnosis.
* Windows Troubleshooting: Resolve common Windows OS issues, including system errors, virus and malware removal, software installation, performance tuning, and data backup/recovery.
* Hardware Installation & Setup: Set up and configure new PCs, laptops, printers, network devices, and other peripherals for clients.
* "Smart Hands": Act as the on-site hands and eyes for our team and external providers, performing tasks such as installing pre-configured and ZTP network equipment, installing workstations, etc.
* Customer Service: Clearly explain technical issues and solutions to non-technical clients, providing advice and building strong, lasting customer relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* An Australian driver's license and your own reliable, roadworthy vehicle are mandatory for this role.
* 0-2 years of experience in an IT support role, with a strong preference for field service or on-site customer-facing experience. Beginners are more than welcome, so long as you have a passion for technology.
* Proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues on Windows 10/11 operating systems.
* Basic understanding of home and small business networking hardware (modems, routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points).
* Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a patient and friendly demeanour.
* Ability to work autonomously, manage your schedule effectively, and think critically on your feet.
* Must be able to lift and carry IT equipment up to 20 kg.

Pay: $35.00 – $65.76 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 15 per week
