Role: .NET Developer
Location: Canberra
Engagement: Immediate start – 30 June 2026
Eligibility: Australian Citizens with Baseline Security Clearance
Onsite Requirement: Minimum 3–4 days per week
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join a dynamic team supporting a Federal Government client. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact projects using modern technologies across the Microsoft stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Technical Lead and Director to deliver robust software solutions.
- Design, build, and test applications using .NET Core, Angular, and SQL Server.
- Translate user stories into technical designs and implement solutions.
- Manage tasks and user stories via Azure DevOps.
- Monitor and support production systems, resolving issues and incidents.
✅ Essential Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in C# and .NET development.
- Strong proficiency in .NET Core, AngularJS, and SQL Server (2008–2019).
- Experience with Visual Studio 2017+
- Solid understanding of technical design and documentation.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Git, and DevOps pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, ideally SAFe.
Desirable Skills
- Tertiary qualifications in software design/development.
- Background in UX Design and Accessibility standards.
- Experience modernizing legacy .NET applications to Cloud Native Services.
- Knowledge of Message-based System Architecture.
