* Expected salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
About the Role:
This role is critical to our installation and renovation projects. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry works associated with flooring installations, subfloor preparation, framing adjustments, stair works, trims and structural modifications when required.
You will work closely with our operations, warehouse and sales teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to Australian standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out general carpentry works including framing, skirting, architraves, stair works and structural adjustments.
* Prepare and modify subfloors to ensure compliance with flooring installation standards.
* Install timber components and assist with complex flooring preparation requirements.
* Interpret plans, specifications and measurements accurately.
* Ensure compliance with Australian building codes and WHS regulations.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
* Coordinate with installers and warehouse team to ensure materials are site-ready.
* Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively.
* Maintain tools, equipment and a clean, safe working environment.
* Complete works within allocated timeframes and budgets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum 2–3 years proven experience as a Carpenter.
* Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry or overseas equivalent).
* Ability to meet ANZSCO 331212 Carpenter skill requirements.
* Strong knowledge of timber construction and finishing techniques.
* Experience working in residential renovation environments preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Strong work ethic and reliability.
Visa & Compliance Requirements (if applicable):
* Willingness to undergo skills assessment (if required).
* Meet English language requirements for Subclass 482.
* Ability to meet health and character requirements.
* Full-time availability.
Licences & Certifications:
* Valid Driver Licence (Required)
* White Card (Construction Induction) – Required
* Forklift Licence (Preferred)
