Join the culinary team at Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach and showcase your skills in a five-star luxury setting where French elegance meets coastal charm.
We currently have two casual opportunities available – one supporting our buffet breakfast service, and one for à la carte lunch and dinner in our signature restaurant.
As a Demi Chef, You Will
Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes with flawless execution and attention to timing.
Support the Chef de Partie in delivering elegant, French-inspired cuisine across buffet or à la carte service.
Collaborate with a passionate kitchen team to ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, HACCP, organisation, and efficiency.
Contribute to a culture of creativity, teamwork, and pride in every service.
Qualifications
Qualified Demi Chef with previous experience in luxury hotels or premium dining.
Passion for either breakfast buffet or à la carte dining, showcasing precision and flair.
Appreciation for French-inspired flavours, fresh local produce, and seasonal creativity.
Exceptional attention to detail and presentation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
A genuine passion for hospitality and commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and event schedules as required.
