Coordinator – The Living Room (Health & Wellbeing Support Service)
Location: Joondalup and City Campuses, Western Australia.
Job type: Ongoing, Part‐time (0.8 FTE).
Salary: $107,151 – $120,060 per annum (Level 7 HEW) plus 17% superannuation.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of student Peer Support Advisors providing support to other students.
* Provide escalated support to students seeking help.
* Coordinate rosters, supervise, and provide ongoing training to PSAs.
* Promote The Living Room across the University and beyond.
Qualifications
* Hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant health discipline (Registered Nurse – Mental Health, Occupational Therapist, Counsellor, Psychologist, Social Worker).
* Full unrestricted registration with a relevant professional body (AHPRA, AASW, PACFA, etc.).
* Proven evidence‐based clinical practice experience in a therapeutic, leadership or case‐management role.
* Experience in psychosocial and risk assessment, trauma‐informed approaches and suicide prevention.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Experience supervising peer‐based roles or providing clinical supervision.
* Knowledge and experience in health promotion or mental health education program delivery.

The Student Life Directorate delivers services that support student health and wellbeing. The Living Room is a new health and wellbeing support service. The role focuses on person‐centred engagement, collaboration across schools and continuous quality improvement.
