Culinary Operations Lead
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Lead to oversee all kitchen and meal production operations on an offshore marine facility. The successful candidate will ensure that food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met.
Job Description:
The Culinary Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing menu planning, food preparation, stock control, ordering, cost management, and daily kitchen workflows. This includes managing catering team performance, mentoring, and guiding staff to maintain high service standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Head Chef or Chief Cook role with senior culinary leadership responsibilities;
* A strong understanding of food safety principles, including HACCP and allergen management;
* Proven knowledge of stock control and kitchen operations, with the ability to use Compass Group software effectively;
* Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and collaborate within a tight-knit team;
* Australian Residents or individuals with full working rights to work offshore;
* Valid marine offshore certifications.
