About The Role
Our Change Team is hiring two Training Specialists for a full-time, 8-month contract, ideally starting in July 2025. Candidates can be located in any major Australian city.
Responsibilities
As part of a Project Change Team, your responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the Training Manager in designing and developing the Training Strategy, Training Plan, Training Needs Analysis, and Training Curriculum.
2. Maintaining the training environment's integrity.
3. Developing training content and materials for key stakeholder groups.
4. Reviewing training materials with resources and facilitating reviews.
5. Translating vendor training material as needed.
6. Managing storage and distribution of training materials and user guides.
7. Participating in train-the-trainer sessions.
8. Supporting the delivery of training sessions.
9. Implementing assessment methods to evaluate training effectiveness.
10. Collaborating with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create engaging learning solutions.
11. Applying diverse learning methodologies, including e-learning, classroom training, workshops, and coaching.
Skills/Attributes Required
1. Proven experience as a Training Specialist or similar role, with success in project or program environments.
2. Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders.
4. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
5. Knowledge of OD/L&D principles and models.
6. Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Ability to transfer skills to team members.
Qualifications And Experience Required
1. Experience supporting projects or changes to systems, processes, or ways of working.
2. Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
3. Adaptable, with a consultative mindset.
4. Professional certification in learning and development (desirable).
5. Experience developing and executing a Training Strategy.
6. Knowledge of Workday or Microsoft Dynamics CRM (desirable).
7. Proficiency in LMS, e-learning tools, and Microsoft 365 applications.
