The team Information Technology Services delivers diverse IT facilities and support to ASIC, driving major technology projects in virtualisation, data analytics, mobility, and cloud to enhance operations. The Digital Applications team is responsible for delivering and supporting portals, integrations, custom applications and digital solutions.
The role ASIC is seeking an experienced web application developer who is interested in leveraging their web development skills to support and deliver applications using Outsystems and .NET.
Training with OutSystems will be available.
As a Senior Web Developer Your Responsibilities Will Include
Systems analysis, technical recommendations, and input to business/solution/UI designs for OutSystems apps
Detailed design and proof of concept for components, workflows, and functionalities
Development, unit testing, and deployment of OutSystems and .NET applications
Alignment of delivered apps with project outcomes and architectural patterns
Compliance with WCAG and security standards
Adherence to coding, privacy, and security practices
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and best practices
Continuous improvement of applications, environments, and processes
About You In order to be considered for the role, you will have the following skills and experience:
5+ years developing/deploying complex web apps with .NET
5+ years in front-end (HTML, CSS, React/Angular)
OutSystems platform experience (advantage)
Skilled in REST/JSON web services
Proficient in SQL queries & performance tuning
Agile methodology & tools (TFS, GIT, JIRA)
Code reviews & quality assurance
CICD/DevOps, continuous integration, automated testing
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Effective communication with technical/business stakeholders
Independent, accountable, outcome-focused work style
Tertiary qualification in IT/Engineering (desirable)
