In this role, you'll:
You'll be working in the Employment, Safety & Liability team, where you will assist in the provision of legal advice and research on, and management of, a diverse range of employment, industrial and safety matters to support the business and operations of Transport for NSW, Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink.
You will contribute to providing advice on conduct issues, unfair dismissal claims, obligations under safety legislation, discrimination claims, and interpretation of legislation and industrial instruments.
You will provide support to senior people in the team and instruct law firms and barristers on matters.

About you
You are an enthusiastic Junior Lawyer who has tertiary qualifications in law and the eligibility to hold a practising certificate in NSW. You will have 1-3 years post qualification experience working on employment, safety and/or industrial matters.
You will have advanced written communication skills and be able to draft succinct and well-structured documents. You will also have excellent verbal communication skills and be able to convey technical legal concepts clearly.
You will have exceptional time management skills and be able to work collaboratively in a busy and high performing team.
You will model the highest standards of integrity and professional conduct.
