About the roleDry Fire TechnicianBased with a growing national organisation with great potential for career progression in the future.Permanent Full-time Position - Monday till Friday 40 hours/week.Supporting a multi-site contract based across Greater Adelaide.Key DutiesInspect, test, maintain, service and install all Dry Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to AS and/or OEM.Conduct routine inspection and servicing of Portable Fire Systems and equipment.Installation of Portable Fire Systems and equipment.Assist in preparation of customer quotations and identifying remedial work.Liaise directly with clients regarding service work.Conduct facility maintenance.Commit to workplace safety and good work practices.About you5+ years' experience within the Fire Industry.3+ years' experience in testing and service.Cert 3 in Electrotechnology / Certificate III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing.FPAS Accreditation (Desirable).White Card.Ability to carry out inspection on fire equipment to AS 1851.Basic knowledge of AS1851, AS1668, AS1670, AS2220, ASS009 and AS3000.Ability to program would be a preference.Capable of testing panels.Current Drivers License.Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Role offers a Ute or Vehicle Allowance + Fuel Card.For further information, please contact members of our Building Services Engineering team running this role on T: .Stuart McKenzie, Sector LeadShannon Walsh, APAC ConsultantDeal with experienced professionals, AustCorp's lead recruiters have over 90 years industry experience!
