This role is ideal for a commercially savvy procurement and contracts professional with strong stakeholder engagement, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of contract management in project environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and execution of commercial strategies, including procurement planning, tendering, contract negotiation and award processes.
* Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including contract administration, across a portfolio of capital projects.
* Work closely with project engineers, construction teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful and compliant project delivery.
* Deliver multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, ensuring commercial outcomes align with schedule, budget and governance frameworks.
* Foster transparent and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
* A degree in Construction, Engineering, Business, or Law (or a related field).
* Minimum 8 years' experience in project procurement, contracts, or commercial roles with exposure to construction environments.
* Strong background in end-to-end contract management including strategy development, tendering, negotiation, award, and ongoing administration.
* Knowledge of contract law, procurement systems (e.g. SAP) and project reporting tools.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
* Flexibility to travel to site locations as needed.
